There are a variety of different opening options for windows. Depending on how and in which order a window can be opened, a distinction is made between the following standard opening types:
Turn-tilt-windows
The window can be opened completely with the first handle operation (turn opening) and only tilted with the second handle movement. This means that when the handle is operated, the turn opening is unlocked before the tilt opening is unlocked.
frequent use: Residential buildings, administration and office buildings
Tilt-before-turn-windows
In this case, the window can only be tilted when the handle is operated for the first time and can only be opened completely with the second handle movement (turn opening).
This means that when the handle is operated, the tilt opening is unlocked before the turn opening is unlocked.
