There are locks that are designed for both DIN directions. In this case, the latch can be moved to the required side. As standard, the locks are supplied on DIN left.
Switching latch direction
for latch-and-bolt-locks
1. Push the slot screwdriver into the opening on the main lock case and pull out the latch at the same time
2. Turn latch
3. Press the latch in until you hear it click into place
4. Press and release the latch several times to check that it is working properly
ATTENTION: For locks with the anti-panic function B, C and D, not only the latch but also the panic function must be switched.
To do this, move the latch bolt into the bolt position by pressing the release lever, then pierce the sealing label at the marked point with a torque spanner and turn the panic pin as far as it will go. Finally, check that the panic function is working properly!
Switching latch direction
for SafeMatic-locks
Main latch
1. Using a slot screwdriver, carefully and slowly press down the retaining spring of the latch. At the same time, pull the latch forwards and out.
2. Turn the latch in the required direction and push it back into the lock. A clear pressure point must be overcome. A clear click can be heard when the retaining spring engages. After the changeover, check the latch for function and tight fit.
